RPSC Second Grade Teacher New Vacancy 2025: Recently on 17 July 2025 RPSC has released new vacancy on total 6500 posts. It is a very happy moment for the unemployed. Online applications are invited by the Commission for recruitment to a total of 6500 posts of Senior Teacher in the following 10 subjects under the Rajasthan Education Service Act 2021 for the Secondary Education Department and Rajasthan Scheduled Area Subordinate Clerical Class and Fourth Class Service Rules 2014 for the Scheduled Area. The posts are permanent and the number of annual posts received from the department can be increased or decreased, which is as follows:

Pay Scale and Running Payment as per Pay Matrix Level L11 Grade Pay 4200 Note: As per State Government rules, the supervisor will be given fixed monthly salary in the pay scale.
Age Limit for Senior Teacher Vacancy 2025:
The minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be less than 40 years as on 11 December 2026. Notepad The posts from serial number 1 to 8 were announced by the Commission in the year 2024, under which the basis for calculation of age was kept as 1-2025. Those who are older in the said posts as on 1-26, they will not be given any additional relaxation in the maximum age as per the financial provisions in the rules.
The posts of serial number 9 were advertised in the year 2018 and the posts of serial number 10 were advertised by the Commission in the year 2013. Thereafter no advertisement was issued for the said posts. Those who are older in age as on 11 December 2026, they will be given an additional relaxation of three years in the maximum age limit as per the provisions prescribed in the rules.

Scheme and Syllabus for the Exam:
RPSC Second Grade Teacher New Vacancy 2025
The Senior Teacher Competitive Examination will carry a total of 500 marks and will consist of two papers. Paper I will be of 200 marks, and Paper II will be of 300 marks.
Paper I will include a question paper of maximum 200 marks, and the duration of this paper will be two hours. The question paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. The subjects covered in Paper I will include:
- Geographical, Historical, Cultural and General Knowledge of Rajasthan
- Current Affairs of Rajasthan
- General Knowledge
There will be 30 minutes allocated for answering the multiple-choice questions. Negative marking will be applicable during evaluation — one-third of the prescribed marks for each wrong answer will be deducted.

The minimum qualifying marks for the examination will be 40%. However, a relaxation of 5% will be provided for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, provided the prescribed percentage is above that.
Second Paper of the Senior Teacher Competitive Examination will carry a maximum of 300 marks. The duration of the question paper will be two hours and thirty minutes. It will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions.

Negative marking will be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For each wrong answer, one-third of the marks prescribed for that particular question will be deducted. In the case of wrong answers, multiple answers, or unclear responses, negative marking rules will apply.
The minimum qualifying marks will be 40%, and a relaxation of 5% will be provided to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, subject to the prescribed minimum percentage being above 40%.
This paper will assess subject knowledge in the following areas:
- Knowledge of the relevant subject at the secondary and senior secondary level
- Knowledge of the relevant subject at the graduation level
- Understanding of teaching methods related to the elements of the subject
